Barrett Accounting and Tax Services is a firm of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Tax Advisers formed in 2005 from the merger of two smaller local practices, Wanborough Accountancy and A.D.Robertson.
The main practitioner is Jon Raymond who qualified as a Chartered Accountant with a local Swindon firm in 1994. Jon subsequently qualified as a Chartered Tax Adviser in 1997 and, after working in many local accountancy firms, started his own part-time practice (Wanborough Accountancy) in 1998. As the business expanded a move to offices in Badbury took place in 2003, which was home to the business until 2025.
In 2005, the practice merged with A.D.Robertson to become Barrett Accounting and Tax Services and, after the retirement of Alan Robertson, the firm has continued to grow, mainly through the recommendations of existing clients.
